One of the greatest local missions you could be involved in is at your local Pregnancy Medical Clinic (PMC). Even if you aren't called to volunteer inside the doors, I believe we are all called to pray for this vital work in God's kingdom. Especially pray for the protection and guidance of all the staff and volunteers serving each patient. Also, pray for the hearts of each patient to be open to hearing life-giving encouragement.

It is life-giving not just for the ones we serve but also for those who serve.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10
It is full of hope. Every day in every situation, we can give hope. Sometimes it is planting a tiny seed. Sometimes it is a grand gesture, but with every phone call answered to every ultrasound provided, hope is given.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." Romans 15:13
You will grow in love. Your heart will break at some of the stories you hear, but it will grow in love. You will begin to see the world with different eyes and have compassion you never thought was possible.
"Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8
"Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." Colossians 3:14
It is for the common good. As we plant seeds of life, hope, and love, our communities change for the better. When we are all working towards the common good, for the glory of God and the good of our neighbors, our churches will flourish.
"To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:7
"When each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:16b
Don't delay telling God yes if He has given you a desire to serve women facing unplanned pregnancies. Take your next step in faith and trust that God will direct your path.
"And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom as such a time as this?" Esther 4:14
