Karen Sims
MAMFC
Executive Director
Karen Sims holds a Master of Marriage and Family Counseling degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Karen has been involved with helping those in unplanned pregnancies for over 20 years. She has had experience serving as an Executive Director for 11 years here in Hattiesburg as well as in Meridian, MS. She has been married to Allen Sims, Music Minister at FBC, Purvis, for over 25 years. They have two beautiful adult children, Katie and Cody experiencing their own life journeys. Steffani Duckworth

Clinic Manager
Steffani has been the Clinic Manager/Sonographer since the doors opened in 2015. She is a founding board member of Hope Clinic, formerly known as Pregnancy Choices. She received her degree as a radiology technologist from Copiah-Lincoln and her Sonography training at Jones County Junior College.
Steffani also earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Ethics. Her experience includes working previously at Forrest General Hospital and Hattiesburg Clinic. Drew is from Petal, MS. After high school graduation in 2004, she attended William Carey University and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2008. Her heart for helping others and passion for infant care is what drove Drew to become a nurse, and since graduating, birth centers have been her main career focus. Mary Ann is from Hattiesburg and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi with a minor in Counseling. She worked 15 years at Hattiesburg Clinic, where she served as their first Director of Human Resources. In 1994, she pursued further education at USM receiving her Masters in Social Work.
