Karen Sims
MAMFC
Executive Director

Karen Sims holds a Master of Marriage and Family Counseling degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.  Karen has been involved with helping those in unplanned pregnancies for over 20 years. She has had experience serving as an Executive Director for 11 years here in Hattiesburg as well as in Meridian, MS. She has been married to Allen Sims, Music Minister at FBC, Purvis, for over 25 years. They have two beautiful adult children, Katie and Cody experiencing their own life journeys. Karen’s passion to serve those in unplanned pregnancies grew from her own infant adoption and her personal testimony as she struggled with some of the same decisions as those she serves... Read More

Steffani Duckworth
RDMS, RVS
Clinic Manager

Steffani has been the Clinic Manager/Sonographer since the doors opened in 2015.  She is a founding board member of Hope Clinic, formerly known as Pregnancy Choices. She received her degree as a radiology technologist from Copiah-Lincoln and her Sonography training at Jones County Junior College.

Steffani also earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and Ethics. Her experience includes working previously at Forrest General Hospital and Hattiesburg Clinic. Alaina Massey

Social Media Coordinator

Alaina lives in Hattiesburg with her husband James, and son, Samuel. Alaina is originally from Prattville, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and English from Troy University. After graduating, Alaina lived overseas in Arua, Uganda, working with the International Mission Board. Her team worked in humanitarian aid efforts for Sudanese refugee women. Staff Nurse

Julie Williamson has been a registered nurse since 1988. She has a specialty certification in Neonatal Nursing and has worked in the NICU at Forrest General Hospital for 35 years. She has been married to Todd Williamson for 30 years. They have 2 adult daughters, Emily and Lauren, and 2 sons in law, Stephen and Mitchell. Ashley lives in Seminary with her husband of 16 years, Eric, and their two children, Maggie (15) and Archie (14).
