Mary Ann Mordica LMSW

Mary Ann is from Hattiesburg and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi with a minor in Counseling. She worked 15 years at Hattiesburg Clinic, where she served as their first Director of Human Resources. In 1994, she pursued further education at USM receiving her Masters in Social Work. Her emphasis since that time has been serving others. She helps them achieve their full potential by working through mental and emotional challenges.

She has been married to her husband, Tony, for nearly 40 years, and they have four adult children, Joseph, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Deborah, all happily married and seven wonderful grandchildren.

Mary Ann was introduced to Hope Clinic by her daughter who volunteers as a nurse. Mary Ann started as a volunteer care coordinator, and she looks forward to making a positive impact on the young women who come through the doors of the clinic.

Mary Ann desires to equip others to build strong and healthy families. She believes that we are all here because of the mercy and grace of God. Her life is an example of one that was spared by God after her 14-year-old birth mother refused to take the abortion pill. She has a passion for seeing life continue to its fullest. God knew each young pregnant woman before she was born, just as He knows the one they are carrying.
